Top 5 iOS Navigation Apps in Middle East Q3 2024

During the third quarter of 2024, the Middle East saw varying trends in the performance of the top 5 navigation and maps applications on the iOS platform. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps demonstrated diverse patterns in terms of downloads and active users.

Google Maps maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 99.5K in early July. However, a gradual decline was observed, with downloads settling at approximately 74.4K by the end of September. Active user numbers fluctuated slightly but remained robust, averaging around 7.2M throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a stable performance with downloads ranging from 16.1K to 21.3K weekly. Active users remained consistent, peaking at 1.8M in early September before a slight decrease to 1.7M by the end of the quarter.

Google Earth saw a notable surge in downloads in mid-August, reaching 57.7K, before stabilizing to a weekly range of 11.4K to 13.7K. Active users showed a downward trend from 413K in early July to 368K by September's end.

JESR | جسر had fluctuating download numbers, starting at 17.2K in July and dropping to 6.5K in September. Active user engagement was relatively steady, ranging from 61K to 63K throughout the quarter.

Finally, Radarbot: Speed Cameras | GPS achieved consistent weekly revenue, peaking at $13.6K in late August. Downloads showed a downward trend, decreasing from 9.8K in early July to 4.7K by the end of September. Active users mirrored this trend, dropping from 34.6K to 28.9K during the same period.
